About BlackIndian AI

BlackIndian AI is an AI assurance and safety testing consultancy based in Atlanta, Georgia. The firm operates under The Gaddis Randolph Group LLC and serves clients across the United States.

The practice focuses on organizations deploying AI systems in regulated environments — healthcare, financial services, insurance, defense, and federal civilian agencies — where an AI failure carries regulatory or safety consequences rather than merely operational ones.

    Founder

Vincent Gaddis is the founder and principal consultant of BlackIndian AI. He has more than fifteen years of professional experience spanning QA automation, observability engineering, AI safety testing, and LLM red-teaming.

He holds an active Public Trust clearance. He has held quality engineering roles at FanDuel, PetSmart, NCR Corporation, and Humana Military, where he led a QA team in the military health sector. He currently works as an Observability Engineer at Major League Soccer.

He is the author of The Observability Edge Field Manual and Twice As Sharp.

    Why the practice exists

Traditional software quality assurance verifies deterministic behavior against a specification. AI systems are probabilistic — the same input can produce different outputs, and correctness is frequently contextual rather than binary. The testing discipline built for deterministic software does not transfer cleanly, and most organizations discover this after deployment rather than before.

BlackIndian AI was founded to apply rigorous, independent testing practice to that gap, in the sectors where getting it wrong is most expensive.
